Join the Withers Collection for our Annual Books on Beale book drive in support of Literacy Mid-South and the Adult Literacy Initiatives across the Mid-South! Our service project will begin on Tuesday, January 07, 2020, at the Withers Collection (located at 333 Beale Street Memphis, TN 38103) and cumulate on January 17, 2020 for MLK Days of Service.
The Adult Learning Program at Literacy Mid-South has provided small group and one-on-one education services to adults who read on a 6th-grade level or below for more than thirty years.
Our goal this year is to provide Literacy Mid-South with 1,000 books for their programming. Organizations and institutions can contact Jazmin Withers at jwithers@witherscollection.org to become Books on Beale Community partners and host a book drive at their office or on their campus.
