This month, we are organizing a Domestic Violence Collection Drive to support survivors in our community. Many individuals fleeing abusive situations often leave with little or nothing. Together, we can help provide them with the basic necessities and a sense of hope as they begin to rebuild their lives.
We are collecting items such as:
• Toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc.)
• Feminine hygiene products
• Non-perishable snacks
• New clothing (especially for women, children, and men)
• Journals, art supplies, or comfort items
• Bedding and pillows
• Socks (children, adults)
• Underwear (children, adults)
• Diapers (all ages)
• Gift cards for groceries
Your help can make a significant impact—whether through donating items, spreading the word, or helping organize your own collection drive.
How you can help:
1. Bring donations to United Way of the Mid-South by Friday, October 31.
2. Share this opportunity with your family, friends, and colleagues to raise awareness.
Let’s stand together with survivors and show them they are not alone. Thank you for your compassion, your energy, and your unwavering support. For questions, email volunteer@uwmidsouth.org.
