Plant lovers unite and volunteer at Lichterman Nature Center May 3-4.
If you are an outdoor person, a people person, or if you love plants this is the volunteer opportunity for you. Volunteers are needed for The Lichterman Volunteer Plant Sale on Friday and Saturday May 3 -4, 2019. The volunteer time slots are 8:30 am -1:00 pm and 12:30pm-5:00pm for both days. Volunteers will help with moving plants to the sale area, help customers load purchased plants in their cars, assist with plants purchase tickets, act as greeters, and help place plants back in the green house once the sale is over. So come and join us to learn about native plants, meet new people, and help beautify the city one yard at a time.
