Necessity Drive

Church Health Scholars and AmeriCorps VISTA members are combating period poverty in a necessities drive for a local public school.  The goal is to help close the gap to access of necessities based on a study featured in the Tennessean that shows that 1 in 5 girls in the United States will miss school due to the lack of access to proper hygiene products during their menstrual cycle. We are collecting pads and tampons until January 25, 2019 in and around Church Health in Crosstown Concourse. Proceeds will go toward a Shelby County School.  Please, drop off donations in Yellow Boxes!
