Are you interested in helping youth entrepreneurs create wealth in their communities? Let's Innovate through Education (LITE) needs you! LITE equips African-American & Latinx students with 21st-century skills to create wealth. Mentors work with students 1.5 hours a week for 16 weeks in either the fall semester or the spring semester. Mentors help students develop entrepreneurial ideas, provide advice on marketing, budgeting, pitching, and building relationships in the community.
Mentors meet with a group of 6-8 students along with 1-2 other mentors and a LITE staff member. Meetings are typically held on Sunday afternoons or Monday evenings.
Our mentors are a vital part of LITE's success. Since our program produces finalists every semester, we are always looking for more mentors to serve!
Check out our website to learn more about our organization and our programming and apply today to be a coach mentor.
