

Who We Are
The Tunica County Literacy Council, Inc. was chartered in 1987 as a non-profit 501 C-3 organization dedicated to helping adults acquire their reading, writing, mathmatical, and problem solving skills they need to improve their lives. The Tunica Child Development Center was established in 1991 to help parents with childcare while they attend class at the literacy council. Our programs are designed to help individuals reach educational goals.
What We Do
The Tunica County Literacy Council, Inc. is dedicated to helping youth and adults learn to read and communicate effectively in today's society. Helping adults to acquire literacy skills, to prepare students for the GED, help prepare adults for gaining employment in the workforce Early childcare development skills for helping parents to raise educated children
