Who We Are

For over 40 years, The Baddour Center has provided community for over 1,000 men and women from across our nation. We see an environment where men and women with intellectual disabilities reach their greatest potential, and we accomplish this by enriching all aspects of their lives through focus on their interests, needs, and well-being. Baddour offers residents a safe community among peers where freedom and personal choice to live, learn, work, worship, and play are the heart of its mission.

What We Do

The Baddour Center is dedicated to providing a residential community for adults with disabilities in an environment that promotes growth intellectually, spiritually, physically, socially, emotionally, and vocationally. The Baddour Center's Tuition Assistance Program serves current residents who have outlived their families or whose family members can no longer afford the cost of care. The Center has four divisions that play a direct role in resident care. Through innovative program design, these divisions work together to create a plan for each resident that ensures continued growth and development. These personalized plans encompass all aspects of every resident's life and teach daily-living skills, valuable work skills and proper exercise and fitness habits. The plan also provides may opportunities for recreation, including off-campus trips, and art, music and performing arts classes. The four divisions include Programs & Residential Services, Community Life, Vocational Services and Education & Research.
