Join Blight Authority Memphis and other government agencies to fight blight in our local community. Volunteers will help with ground control by removing debris and trash from a designated area. Memphis City Beautiful will supply all tools needed. However, we recommended that volunteers bring work gloves if they have them.
Volunteers should come to the Hamilton High School parking lot, located at 1363 Person Avenue, Memphis, TN, 38106, no later than 9:30 a.m. to register and be provided with project instructions. Please look for United Way of the Mid-South tents and signage. After the morning brief, MATA buses will provide transportation from Hamilton High School to the opportunity site. MATA will circle the lot to pick up individuals & drop them off.
