This volunteer orientation will provide an overview of each of the Free Tax Prep Volunteer roles and corresponding responsibilities. We will review the Greeter, Screener, Tax Preparer, Quality Reviewer, Site Coordinator, Assistant Site Coordinator, and Cash Coach roles. Please choose only one of the three available sessions.
This is a great session for anyone interested in volunteering for the United Way of the Mid-South Free Tax Prep Program. For experienced volunteers, this is not a required session.
Volunteer Requirements- must possess a friendly attitude and adhere to the privacy and confidentiality of taxpayers' information. All volunteers must commit to 30 hours of service during the tax season (January 21st through April 17th)
Additional training courses will be offered to prepare each volunteer for their role and responsibilities.
