Who We Are

The House of Grace, established in 1998, is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization that provides emergency shelter to women and their children who are victims of domestic violence. We also offer counseling and other services to women who do not need shelter but are still victims or were victims of domestic violence. These services are offered at the House of Grace office. The House of Grace serves DeSoto, Tunica. Panola, Marshall, Quitman, Coahoma, Lafayette, and Tate counties.

What We Do

To offer a way out for victims of domestic violence, provide confidential support, counseling & a safe place to live, to equip survivors with the necessary skills to empower women to walk in dignity. The House of Grace is a Christ-centered ministry that was established in 1999 to provide emergency temporary shelter to women who are victims of domestic violence and their dependents. Additional services offered (to shelter residents and the community at large) through the House of Grace administrative offices and thrift store include, but are not limited to, counseling, court and other advocacy services, referrals to other agencies, dry goods, toiletries, and clothes. The House of Grace serves residents of Benton, Desoto, Coahoma, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Tate, Tunica and Yalobusha counties in northwest Mississippi.
