The Division of Parks and Neighborhoods supports an active civic culture reflective of the diversity of the community's voices. The Division oversees all Parks, Community Centers, Senior Centers,  Aquatic Centers, Tennis Centers  and Golf facilities across the City of Memphis.  Our goal is to create thriving communities through people, services, programs, parks and our facilities.  If you have any questions our e-mail address is: parksinfo@memphistn.gov.

All these are brought to you by your Division of Parks and Neighborhoods. We have been providing fun and educational activities for the residents and visitors of Memphis for over 100 years and many activities are free. Memphis Parks and Neighborhoods oversees:

• 24 local Community Centers and 5 Senior Centers & 4 Rec Svcs Facilities (former head start sites)
• 17 Aquatic Facilities (13 outdoor and 4 indoor)

• 8 Golf Courses
• 34 Soccer/Football Fields
• 182 Basketball Hoops Indoor and Outdoor
• 113 Ball diamonds 
• 7 Tennis Centers
• 2 Dog Park - Tobey Park and Overton Park
• 1 Skate Park - Tobey Park
• 1 Marina - McKeller Lake at King/Riverside Park
• The May Soccer Complex
• The Award-winning Skinner Development Center for people with special needs
• The Memphis Zoo and Brooks Museum of Art
• The Memphis Botanic Garden and Pink Palace Family of Museums
• 18 Libraries (Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library + 17 branches throughout Memphis, Bartlett, and unincorporated Shelby County) plus JobLINC (mobile service vehicle)
