Women's Foundation for A Greater Memphis

The mission of the Women's Foundation for a Greater Memphis (WFGM) is to encourage philanthropy and foster leadership among women and support programs that enable women and children to reach their full potential. Through grant-making, research, community initiatives, and public-private partnerships, WFGM has invested $14.9 million in the Memphis area. Since 1996, $7.2 million has been awarded through our core grant-making program to more than 100 local nonprofits. An additional $7.7 million has been invested in Memphis HOPE, WFGM’s largest initiative serving over 2200 low-income individuals. Collectively, WFGM and its grantee partners serve 17,000 individuals annually.
