Who We Are

The Arc Northwest Mississippi creates educational programs and events that bring together individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with their typically functioning peers in a fun and friendly environment of love and understanding. We assist families in finding services, programs, and information to help their loved ones live a healthy, rewarding, and fulfilling life. The Arc Northwest Mississippi actively works to educate the community about the people we serve.

What We Do

The Arc Northwest Mississippi is an advocacy organization for individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Supper Club is a social club for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, age 15 or older, who need a little extra help socializing with peers in a low pressure setting. This club currently meets once a month and is bursting at the seams with enthusiastic participation. Each club meeting starts dinner (which participants bring with them, at this time) and socialization, then proceeds to games, games, games. Due to Supper Club's popularity, we hope to create three clubs: one for middle school students, one for high school students, and one for young adults.
