Who We Are

MIFA serves over 60,000 individuals annually through programs in three areas of focus: We sustain the independence of seniors. We stabilize and transform families in crisis. We equip urban teens for success. Our Vision MIFA strives to be a leading and collaborative resource attacking the challenges of poverty in Memphis. Our Organization MIFA was founded in 1968. Today, we serve more than 60,000 people annually through eight programs that sustain the independence of seniors, stabilize and transform families in crisis, and equip urban teens for success. MIFA partners with more than 200 congregations in West Tennessee. More than 3,000 volunteers and 17,000 donors help keep our vital programs alive.

What We Do
