Fayette County Technical Rescue Team, Inc.

The FCTRT is a Regional Rescue Squad that provides volunteer emergency services not only in Fayette County but all over West Tennessee, North Mississippi, and East Arkansas. Our Team is the only private and sanctioned volunteer Rescue Squad in the mid-south that is solely dedicated to technical rescue and is comprised of experienced and highly skilled volunteers who donate their time not because they have something to gain but because this is something they believe in.

The mission of the Team is to bring together highly trained personnel with varying backgrounds (firefighters, police officers, and private sector) to have a diverse volunteer Technical Rescue Squad. Over seven years ago, the Team was created to provide additional and supplemental technical rescue capabilities to the citizens of Fayette County and surrounding areas in West Tennessee, North Mississippi, and Eastern Arkansas at no additional cost to the taxpayers. Our Team is a private and sanctioned Regional Rescue Squad that provides assistance without charge and is comprised of experienced, highly trained, and skilled volunteers from various emergency response agencies and departments (many of which are professionally employed in the emergency services field) as well as the private sector. As stated above, our membership is entirely volunteer. Qualified and experienced emergency volunteers don’t only save lives and help our community, they save tax dollars through their volunteer efforts. In addition to the above, our Team believes in community outreach, community education, and assisting the citizens and local emergency response agencies all across the mid-south area.
