District One Volunteer Fire Department

Our department has been in operation since 1973. We provide fire and EMS service to our district which consists approximately 7200 residents, several businesses, churches, as well as a school that serves kindergarten through 12th grade. we cover 73 square miles in our fire district, to include commercial buildings.

The mission of this department is to provide fire and ems protection service to our community and help educate the students in our local school and in the community on how to survive a fire in their home, as well as the elderly.
