Newsletter Writer

Fayette Cares is looking for a newsletter writer to create and send a regular newsletter to our donors and community partners.  This internship will develop your writing and design skills while you gain experience with the unique challenges of a nonprofit organization. You will collaborate with our marketing and programming teams to collect content and write stories that celebrate our accomplishments and communicate our needs effectively. You will be expected to check in regularly with leaders and team members.  Your contribution will help broaden our efforts and expand our audience and help educate victims and the community about the effective responses and services available to intervene in situations of domestic violence. 

Videographer /Content Creator

Fayette Cares is looking for a video production intern to create videos that help raise awareness about the issues faced by domestic violence victims, particularly as they navigate the increased dangers created by the pandemic.  This internship will require knowledge of video editing platforms and an ability to develop video concepts and content.  As an intern you will collaborate with our marketing and program teams.  Your contribution will help empower victims and the community to promote safety by recognizing the dynamics of an abusive relationship, the dangers of self-isolation and other risks, and the effective responses and services available to intervene. 

Graphic Design Volunteer

Fayette Cares is looking for a graphic design intern to help us communicate our message visually with our volunteers, donors, and community.  This internship will develop your graphic design skills while you gain experience with the unique challenges of a nonprofit organization.  As an intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and administrative teams. You will be expected to check in regularly with leaders and team members.  Your contribution will help broaden our efforts and expand our audience.

Social Media Ambassador Description

Fayette Cares is looking for social media-savvy people to help us spread the word about our mission to serve individuals experiencing domestic violence. Your network of friends, family and co-workers could help us connect with new supporters who are interested in supporting our work.  Social Media Ambassadors are social media professionals, technology enthusiasts, networked individuals, and/or social media users who utilize their online communities to help promote Fayette Cares and to promote our mission to empower those in need with solutions to end homelessness, break the cycle of domestic violence, and create stability and self-sufficiency from crisis.

Marketing Volunteer

Fayette Cares is looking for a marketing volunteer to help us raise awareness of our cause and fundraise for our operations.  This internship will develop your marketing skills while you gain experience with the unique challenges of a nonprofit organization.  As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and administrative teams. You will be expected to check in regularly with leaders and team members.  Your contribution will help broaden our efforts and expand our audience.
