We are working out of our Community Support Center. This is the space where we pack all of the items that go out in our services at CCWTN: daily meal sacks, family sized food boxes, senior food boxes, WeekEND hunger boxes, hygiene kits and other items as needed. We usually won't know exactly which item we will be packing until closer to the event time- it will be based on inventory and restock needs. Volunteer roles include opening product off pallets, taping boxes, placing product in boxes/bags, stacking completed boxes onto pallets, breaking down cardboard trash, and general clean-up. Please dress comfortably in closed toed shoes. We are so grateful for volunteers who come together to help us pack food for our neighbors in need.
Day of Caring 2024
Days of Caring (DOC) is the community's largest, single-day volunteer-driven service opportunity. Every year, United Way mobilizes thousands of volunteers to help improve our community one project at a time. We welcome anyone interested in helping make an impact to join us in meaningful volunteer projects that benefit local nonprofits and the people they serve.
We will kick off DOC this year on April 5th, but opportunities will occur throughout the year. Below is a listing of organizations that need your help.
