Volunteers for Feed the Needy Drive will meet at the warehouse at 1179 N. Warford –corner of Jackson/Warford (Enter 2970 Jackson Avenue in GPS), from 2-7AM, and then at the Distribution Line at Teamsters Union, 796 E. Brooks Rd, Memphis TN 8 AM-12PM. Volunteers will report to the team lead for the Memphis Labor Council, Leslie Hardaway (USW 9-631). Ruth Rawling-Banks is the coordinator of the Feed the Need Drive if you have questions or internal needs while onsite. No Bags, Purses or Backpacks allowed. Clear-fanny packs are acceptable. Wear layered clothes. Your temperature will be taken upon arrival. Age requirement at the warehouse ONLY is 18 and older.
Safety: There are Forklifts near the dock, and on the warehouse floor so walk, don't run, pay attention to your surroundings especially when walking between pallets, and wear the safety gloves provided.
