Join us for an afternoon of planting perennials at Washington Bottoms! This ongoing project is a partnership between Memphis City Beautiful and the Works with the goal of maintaining and rejuvenating a large swath of blighted inner city green space. We will work to clear the large thicket around the sycamore tree along Washington near the near the sunflower garden, while tilling & planting of the sunflower field.
Please wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing as well as closed-toe shoes. We will provide water and snacks and we encourage you to bring your own water bottle and we'll keep them filled and keep you hydrated.
