Who We Are
The Arc Mid South works with infants, seniors and everyone in between. Some are born with disabilities; others acquire them through disease or injury. The following services are provided: Family Support -- Respite Care (in home and out of home), Personal Assistance, Homemaker Services, Day Services, Hospital Sitter Services, Transportation Services; Information, Referral and Advocacy Services; Career Development, Job Placement, Job Readiness Training, Job Coaching, GED classes.
What We Do
Our mission: Empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential. The Arc Mid-South’s family support services help keep families of those with disabilities together in their own homes - not in group homes or institutions. We do this by providing Direct Service Providers to assist clients with daily living activities, such as routine household chores and personal care, thus freeing up other family members to hold jobs or pursue their educations. We also enable some higher-functioning people to become productive members of the workforce through our career development and job placement services.
