Samaritans

A non-profit organization serving Horn Lake and Southaven, MS. Samaritans is governed by representatives of local churches and organizations who voluntarily serve as Board of Directors. We offer tangible assistance to the low income families, helping with utilities, prescription medication, food, clothing and referrals for medical care.

To provide emergency subsistence, to offer empowering information, and to guide our clients out of poverty one step at a time. Samaritans is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that services low income families in Horn Lake and Southaven, MS. We provide tangible emergency assistance in the form of vouchers for utility payments, medicine, etc., in addition to food and clothing for those in need due to poverty, life transitions and hardships. Samaritans is governed by representatives of local churches, reputable members of our community and organizations who voluntarily serve as Board of Directors. We do not support rent/mortgage assistance.
