Memphis Recovery Centers

Who We Are

Memphis Recovery Centers, Inc. (MRC) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) agency that has provided substance abuse treatment since 1970. MRC has an adult program for men and women, and two adolescent programs (ages of 13-17), all licensed by The Department of Mental Health and accredited by CARF. MRC is also a member of TAADAS and NAATP. MRC has decades of experience providing primarily residential alcohol and drug abuse treatment and now serves individuals with co-occuring disorders.

What We Do

Memphis Recovery Centers, Inc. is committed to providing professional, cost-effective treatment to youth, adults, and their families who are experiencing major life problems due to substance abuse. MRC's Youth Program is a CARF accredited, long-term residential alcohol and drug abuse treatment facility for adolescent males and females ages 13-17 in Memphis and the surrounding areas. We accept clients from all areas of Tennessee as well as Mississippi and Arkansas. Our Youth program specializes in treating teens with substance abuse or dependence and their families. The abuse of alcohol and other drugs by adolescents often goes unnoticed until other problems surface. Our comprehensive, intensive program addresses many of the problems related to addiction. These may include, but are not limited to, a drop in school performance, disciplinary problems at home and/or school, mood swings, involvement in illegal activities, criminal behavior and legal charges, association with a negative peer group, and an increase in risky behaviors. The program offers three-to-six months of structured residential treatment with intensive family involvement and an on campus school.

MRC's Adult program is a CARF accredited treatment facility offering residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment programs. Clients in MRC's care will be involved in a variety of therapeutic approaches including group and individual therapy, nutrition and wellness programs, educational lectures, music and art therapy, family therapy, and community support group meetings. At MRC, we understand that no two individuals are the same. Our professionals work closely with all individuals to establish the best treatment plan for their individual needs.
