Who We Are

The only bilingual theatre community organization in Tennessee, Cazateatro became a 501c3 in August 2014. It was founded with the mission of spreading and sharing the Hispanic culture through performing arts to create a uniting bridge for our diverse community, emphasizing the importance of being bilingual and showing the richness of our diverse community

What We Do

We seek to introduce the greater Memphis community to the many facets of Latinx art and culture. To do so, we work to attract, entertain, and educate both English-Speaking and Spanish-speaking Memphians of all ages. Our regular programs include: • Our bi-lingual theatre performance series • The Dia de los Muertos, or ‘Day of the Dead’ Parade and Festival • The ‘On the Road’ project • Afro-Latino week • Latin Fest 901 Our dedication to providing a connecting bridge between cultures in our community through the arts.
